摘要： A drive mechanism for a slide-out room includes top and bottom gear racks secured on sidewalls of the room. A motor is fixed relative to the slide-out room adjacent the sidewall. A drive shaft is coupled with the motor and engages both of a first drive gear and a second drive gear, respectively engaged with the top and bottom gear racks. The gear racks are covered by a suitable cover, and the drive gears extend through the covers into engagement with the racks.
