摘要： A synthetic resin composition having resistance to thermal deterioration and comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a synthetic resin and (B) 0.001 to 10 parts by weight of hydrotalcite particles defined by the following features (i) to (iv): (i) the hydrotalcite particles are represented by the chemical structural formula (1) {(Mg)y(Zn)z}1-x(A1)x(OH)2(An-)x/n.mH2O, (ii) the hydrotalcite particles have an average secondary-particle diameter of 2 νm or smaller, (iii) the hydrotalcite particles have a specific surface area (BET method) of 1 to 30 m2/g, and (iv) the hydrotalcite particles contain one or more iron compounds and one or more manganese compounds in a total amount of up to 0.02 wt.% in terms of metals (iron and manganese). Molded articles formed from the resin composition are excellent in resistance to thermal deterioration and impact resistance, and the hydrotalcite particles are in a satisfactorily dispersed state.

摘要： Improved stabilizer compositions are provided which impart significant long-term heat stabilization to halogen-containing vinyl polymers such as polyvinyl chloride. The improved stabilizer compositions combine one or more metal-containing primary stabilizer compounds with a finely divided co-stabilizing phosphate material of a predetermined surface area. The phosphate material includes an anhydrous or hydrous sodium or potassium monohydrogen phosphate, lithium dihydrogen phosphate, or alkali-metal pyrophosphate. The novel combination of stabilizers enables a reduction in the amount of metal-containing stabilizer, if desired, while still yielding long-term stability in the resultant polymer, or provides the ability to raise process temperature and reduce cycle times of molding operations.

摘要： Thermoplastic molding compositions and articles comprise immiscible thermoplastic polymer components and reinforcing fibers. The immiscible thermoplastic polymer components and the fibers are blended together under high shear conditions. The molding composition generally contains at least two phases and has an extremely smooth and fiber-free surface. Generally, very good physical properties are obtained such as high impact resistance, high heat distortion temperatures, high tensile modulus, high flex modulus, and the like. A desired blend of thermoplastic components is thermoplastic polyurethane and polyethyleneterephthalate with glass fibers.

摘要： An oil-soluble rust preventive composition consists essentially of (A) a polycarboxylic acid having seven to 44 carbon atoms and 2 or 3 carboxyl groups or a partial ester of said acid with analiphatic alcohol having one to 18 carbon atoms and (B) an aliphatic tertiary amine having three hydrocarbon groups, each of which has at least one to 20 carbon atoms and at least one of which has six to 20 carbon atoms. The weight ratio of (A) to (B) is in the range of 95:5 to 5:95. The composition, when added to hydrocarbon oil, provides improved rust preventive characteristics and improved demulsibility, particularly when the oil contains a dispersant of the metal salt type.
