摘要： A quenchant management system having a quenchant separation module for separating a heavy phase polymer such as polyalkylene glycol (PAG) from water. The quenchant separation module includes a heating section for elevating the temperature of the fluid to be separated to provide initial thermal separation. The quenchant separation module also includes a coalescer for further separating the heavy phase from the light phase of the input fluid. In order to obtain a predetermined polymer concentration and the heavy phase, the output flow rate of the coalescer is varied in accordance with the concentration and flow rate of the input fluid.

摘要： A method is provided, to render non-hazardous, surfaces which are coated with lead-based paints. A composition comprising an aqueous mixture of hydrogen peroxide, ammonium hydroxide, nitric acid and acetic acid is poured on the surface and, after a time, water is poured onto the surface to remove the lead-based paint. The method is effective on surfaces which may be comprised of wood, metal, concrete, wallboard or plaster without destroying the integrity of these surfaces.

摘要： A correction device for typewriters and the like, including a material, preferably in liquid form, maintained at a predetermined pressure within a container. The container outlet is coupled through a narrow elongated tube whose dispensing end is positioned upon the typewriter carriage or other device so as to be located immediately across from the last printed character or other symbol. An operating switch activates an electronic circuit for dispensing a measured amount of the material over the last printed character, the color of said material being the same as the paper being printed upon to provide the same effect as erasure of the character. The dispensing of the measured dosage may be accomplished either by electronic or mechanical means. The erasure means may be provided as an integral part of the typewriter unit or as an independent stand-alone accessory.

Each of the grooves have a narrow width portion and a wide width portion and corresponding shallow depth and deep depth portion. The narrow width portion of one of the grooves is approximately 180° out of phase from the narrow width portion of the other varying width groove.

The two sets of contacts have different patterns, preferably in accordance with two different contact standards such as a memory card standard and that of the Universal Serial Bus (USB). One memory card standard that can be followed is that of the Secure Digital (SD) card. The cards can thus be used with different hosts that are compatible with one set of contacts but not the other. A cover that is hinged to the card to normally cover one set of contacts can be rotated out of the way by hand when that set of contacts is being used.
