摘要： A snack food is prepared using a combination of potato and baked bread made from wheat flour. The bread used may be yeast or chemically leavened. The potato may be potato granules or flakes or powder or fresh cooked potato. The two principal ingredients may also be mixed with other texturising and flavouring ingredients. The mixtures are formed into a plastic dough by the addition of water or other wetting ingredients and mixed in conventional dough mixers. The dough is formed in depositors or sheeters and cutters into suitable snack food sized pieces of adequate thickness and diameter and then dried, to give a crisp texture and long shelf life, by a number of alternative drying techniques including air drying and frying in vegetable oils. The final snack food may be coated with flavours and seasoning and vegetable oils to create taste and texture appeal.

摘要： Rotary inlet/exhaust valve for internal combustion engines having seals employed to minimise gas leakage around cylindrical valve rotor (12) which rotates with a radial clearance gap within a receiving bore of the engine. Rotor (12) comprises a main cylindrical body (40) having a rectangular exhau st port (48) formed on the circumferential surface of rotor (12) with angular spacing from inlet port (46). Sealing elements (70, 80, 90) are received in respective grooves (60, 64, 68) formed on the circumferential surface and arranged to bridge the radial clearance gap to create over each discrete surface zone, discrete volume sectors that rotate with rotor (12). Each annular sealing element (70) consists of a pair of sealing rings. Rotor (12) incorporates a pressurizing system arranged to selectively direct a pressurized fluid in between each sealing ring pair (70) to bias the rings i n axially opposite directions to prevent high pressure gases from breaking the seal between the flanks of sealing elements (70) and the end faces of sealin g elements (80, 90). This prevents ring seals (70) from moving away from the side surfaces of groove (60), and hence away from the end faces of sealing elements (80, 90).

摘要： A process by which any flat material can be used to make, by folding in straight radial lines to a centre, cutting along one line to the centre and overlapping and fixing adjacent sides, as appropriate, a pointed corner known hereafter as a "Constructor Corner". By using a combination of at least four of these, along with suitable edge materials, an open three dimensional structure can be created. The angular magnitude of joined pairs of radial lines being important to the finished structural shape but not necessarily of the same angular size as other joined pairs in the corner. A Constructor Corner may be used as an internal or external corner of a structure. The size of a structure may be varied by edge length as necessary.
