    • A touch screen system and prismatic film includes a retroreflective substrate having a plurality of retroreflective elements having triangular cube corners. A metallized layer is disposed over at least a portion of the retroreflective elements. In one embodiment, the prismatic film includes two colored substrates mounted over the retroreflective elements. In another embodiment, a single substrate is mounted over the retroreflective elements. It is often desired that a color of the substrate(s) be chosen that is highly transparent in the infrared spectrum, but is also non-transparent in the visible light spectrum, giving the prismatic film a dark appearance. The prismatic film includes a plurality of retroreflective elements having triangular cube corners with a cant in a range between about 4 degrees in a face more parallel direction to 18 degrees in an edge more parallel direction and a cube depth between about 0.002 and 0.008 inches or with a cant of about 5.5 to 22 degrees in an edge more parallel direction and a cube depth between about 0.0005 and 0.004 inches, or with a cant of about 8 to 35 degrees in a face more parallel direction and a cube depth between 0.001 and 0.012 inches.

    • A system for managing the production of retail tickets in accordance with a ticket order includes a ticketing services bureau that, receives the ticket order and a print center that prints tickets in accordance with the ticket order. The system additionally includes a client connected to the ticketing services bureau via the internet. As part of an interactive ticket proofing process prior to the execution of the ticket order, the client electronically retrieves an on-screen proof and, if necessary, , dynamically modifies the on-screen proof in real time. As one feature of the invention, the ticketing services bureau converts size information in the ticket order into a corresponding color element in the on-screen proof. As another feature of the invention, the client can optionally receive a physical ticket sample prior to execution of the ticket order, the ticket sample being generated by a digital press using the tentatively approved on-screen proof.

    • A method of managing the production of tickets in accordance with a ticket order submitted to a ticketing services bureau by a customer includes an optional step of producing a physical ticket proof for the customer prior to execution of the ticket order. Preferably, the physical ticket proof is generated using a plateless printing press, such as a digital printing press, but has the print characteristics of a particular plate-based press platform which is designated to execute the ticket order. A process for accurately matching the color characteristics of the digital printing press with the color characteristics of a plate-based press platform includes the steps of calibrating the plate-based press platform to meet a particular printing standard, creating an International Color Consortium (ICC) profile for the designated plate- based press platform, applying the ICC profile to the digital printing press, and managing the color formulation properties of the digital printing press.
