    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio frequency identification (RFID) device, making it impossible or hard to collect information after a product reaches a final user. SOLUTION: The RFID device includes a first relatively permanent portion and a second portion which is either variable or capable of being inactivated. After an occurrence of a portion of a predetermined event, the second portion and/or the second portion coupled to the first portion is physically varied and inactivated. The first portion itself may be the RFID device without an antenna, which can be read in a narrow range, while when being coupled with the first portion, the second portion may be an antenna largely expanding the range in which the first portion can be read. The second portion may be configured to be varied or inactivated by a variety of arbitrary events, including physical, chemical or electrical force, which are given to either the RFID device or an object to which the RFID device is coupled.
