The rail is held in a guide having an undercut (8, 9) in the blade carrier on both sides, wherein the undercut (9) facing the counter blade forms a separating strip (10), the thickness of which reduces outward in a blade-like fashion such that, along with the other undercut (8), the rail assumes an oblique position relative to the counter blade in the transverse direction, wherein the outer edge (11) of the undercut (9) facing the counter blade is in close proximity to the opposite front edge (12) of the counter blade and the other front edge of the rail protrudes in the direction of the cutting wheel.

摘要： The invention provides a slicing and conveying system (10) that includes a slicing blade (33) that cuts slices from a loaf (32), and an output conveyor (31) located below the slicing blade (33) for receiving the slices in a draft. A control system (62) automatically adjusts a lateral movement of the output conveyor (31) to form a laterally shingled draft of a consistent width in response to a sensed lateral dimension of the loaf (32) being sliced. The control system includes a displacement sensor (70) carried by a laterally adjustable guide assembly adjacent to the slicing blade (33). The displacement sensor (70) is signal-connected to a control (62). The control is signal-connected to the output conveyor (31) to control the lateral movement of the output conveyor according to the lateral dimension of the loaf (32) sensed by the displacement sensor (70). As an additional aspect, the slices can be shingled in the longitudinal direction to form a two dimensional footprint. A length sensor (162) can sense the length of the shingled draft and send a feedback signal to the control (62) to make adjustments to the longitudinal movement of the output conveyor (31) to adjust the degree of longitudinal shingling.

摘要： Described herein is a method and apparatus for cutting and de-splicing a roll of spliced filmstrips, which are transported on a film path (32) through the apparatus, to form filmstrip leading and trailing ends and re-shaping each end to their desired configurations. The apparatus (30) has a splice cutter (70, 72, 74) located along the film path (32) for forming two filmstrip ends with residual splices thereon. Punch and die assemblies are located adjacent to the splice cutter (70, 72, 74) for re-shaping the ends of the filmstrip and removing the residual splice. Moveable alignment guides are provided adjacent to each punch and die assembly for aligning the film prior to cutting and re-shaping operations. A plurality of flexible guides (50, 52, 54, 56) located along the film path (32) for guiding the spliced and de-spliced filmstrips therealong.

摘要： A selective wire feed (18) for feeding any one of a plurality of wires (2-12) which are arranged in pairs (2, 4; 6, 8; 10, 12), each pair having a first wire and a second wire. Each wire pair has a feeding unit associated therewith which comprises a driven belt (62) and two idler belts (58, 60). The idler belts (58, 60) are movable between a feeding position and a non-feeding position. A specific wire is fed by moving its associated feeding belt (58, 60) to its feeding position and actuating the driven belt (62) so that the wire is fed by the two belts. A wire guide (28) is provided and has convergent passageways (148) which extend to a wire outlet (150). A cutter (16) is provided adjacent to the outlet so that a wire which has been fed can be cut. Thereafter, the wire which has been fed can be retracted by reversing the direction of the driven belt (62).
