    • A rigid air valve comprises a valve body and a valve stem. The valve body has a shoulder for abutting an inner cylindrical surface of the wheel. A first protruding portion extends radially outwardly from the shoulder into a valve hole. The first protruding portion extends to a tire-side surface of the wheel. A second protruding portion extends both radially inwardly and axially outwardly through a hole in a center plate of the wheel to thereby define a curved air passageway extending from a first opening in the first protruding portion to a second opening in the second protruding portion. The valve stem has external threads for engaging complementary internal threads inside the second protruding portion. The valve stem includes a valve for selectively admitting air into a tire when mounted on the wheel. This valve is robust and durable, reduces inflation time and eliminates leaky spuds and O-rings.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a tire valve in which an engaging part with a rim is formed of an elastic body without damaging the rim, and to recover a sealant in a tire.
      SOLUTION: A valve inserter 24 is engaged with the tire valve 18, to pull up the tire valve 18 by using a principle of a lever. As the elastic cylindrical member 18D of the tire valve 18 is elongated and an annular channel 18E is exposed to the outside of the surface of the rim, the channel part is cut by a nipper. There exists no possibility of damaging the rim 12 by cutting the tire valve 18 by a cutter or the like, to be able to remove easily the tire valve 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely pinch a head of a valve core by inserting a barrel part for holding a tool for rotation and a stopper for holding the tool for rotation into a holder part. SOLUTION: Before installing a valve core connecting and disconnecting tool in a valve core 13, a barrel part 2 thereof is drawn to a stopper 3 side so as to open a stopper 9. A tip of a holder part 1 is lightly pushed to the valve core 13, and a shaft 15 of the valve core 13 is inserted into a shaft pinching hole 7 through a shaft constraining hole 6. The barrel part 2 is slid in the direction of the tip of the holder part 1 so as to narrow a slit 9. As a result, the shaft constraining hole 6 of the holder part 1 securely pinches the shaft 15 of the valve core 13, and the shaft pinching hole 7 securely pinches the tip of the shaft 15 of the valve core 13. Thereafter, the barrel part 2 or the stopper 3 of the valve core connecting and disconnecting tool is turned so as to connect or disconnect the valve core 13.
