摘要： A radio frequency identification (RFID) label print system includes a label printer comprising a master control board of the printer, an antenna, a radio frequency read-and-write module, and a RFID label comprising a coil, a read-and-write interface, and nonvolatile memories. The RFID label printing process includes the following steps: A1) sets printing content; A2) acquaints the master control board of the printer with the printing content; A3) the radio frequency read-and-write module sends and receives RF signals by the antenna; A4) the coil induces RF signals and writes the printing content into the nonvolatile memories through the read-and-write interface. The said RFID label printing system and process are of benefit to commodity flow because the RFID label has a RF chip to print and save the information of the label. Furthermore, the RFID label printer also has an USB interface to transport data in an USB device to the printer.

摘要： A compact system (40) adapted for card imaging, card laminating, or other card processing, comprises a card processor (48) positioned on a horizontal card feed path and configured to process one or both faces of a rectangular card (10) such as a plastic credit or debit card. A card feeder (44) is arranged to feed cards one at a time onto the horizontal feed path (54) upstream of the card processor, the feeder comprising a compartment (62) for holding a stack (64) of vertical cards each supported on a long edge and a card feed mechanism (68) configured to successively draw a card from an end of the stack and translate it off the stack. A card re-director (46) is configured to receive the card and to redirect it to an attitude in which it is parallel with the horizontal card feed path and positioned to be fed to the card processor along the horizontal feed path. The compartment is located above the horizontal card feed path, and the card feeder feeds cards substantially vertically downward into the card re-director. The card processor may comprise a card printer and a magnetic strip encoder. Also disclosed are methods of printing, encoding and feeding cards.

摘要： A printer (10) configured to print on substrates (22) that undesirably tend to collect debris before being printed, comprises a print station including a printhead (60), and a printer body configured to receive a replaceable cartridge (64) that holds a printer consumable (such as a ribbon) (66) and a substrate cleaning structure (16). The printer body is constructed and arranged so that when a cartridge is received in the body, the cleaning structure is operable to at least assist in removing debris from a substrate. The cleaning structure may comprise a tacky or sticky belt, web or roller (32). The cleaning structure may be configured to present a sticky surface to a primary cleaning member that engages and cleans the substrates. Alternatively, the cleaning structure may be configured to directly engage and clean the substrates. Preferably, the useful lives of the cleaning structure and the printer consumable are commensurate. Also disclosed is a replaceable cartridge (64) that holds both a printer consumable and a substrate cleaning structure, the cartridge being configured so that when it is received in a printer it is operable to at least assist in removing debris from a substrate. Also disclosed are a method of cleaning an information receiving surface of a substrate and a method of cleaning a substrate-cleaning member of a substrate printer.
