摘要： A vehicle seat housing apparatus (24) wherein a seat (88) is swung back from a seatable position by a support mechanism (27) and housed in a housing recess part (31) such that the bottom (45) is oriented upward, said housing recess part being formed on the floor (17) behind the seat. The support mechanism includes a first support member (71), a second support member (72), a coupling shaft (73), and a folding mechanism (28). The first support member extends above the floor from either the floor or the housing recess part. The second support member extends from the bottom surface of the seat to the first support member. The coupling shaft couples the second support member to the first support member so as to allow back and forth swinging movement. The folding mechanism, when the seat is housed in the housing recess part, folds the first and second support members in a direction eliminating protrusion to the passenger compartment from the floor.

摘要： In the pivoting seat described, the back of the seat, together with the seat portion, is designed to pivot around an almost vertical axis, the sitting surface pivoting around an almost horizontal axis. The seat is fixed to a carrying structure of the aircraft. The invention is characterized in that the supporting parts of the seat, such as the seat plate (25) and back plate (27) are in the form of milled components, and in that a spring is actuated by folding upward the seat portion (2), said spring pivoting the seat (1) into a recess (15). The seat can be made at a lower cost than at present and is characterized by a lower weight. In order to pivot the seat into a recess from its position of use, when not required, it is sufficient to release the seat part, after which the latter automatically adopts a vertical position thereby actuating a spring which pivots the seat into said recess. Locking in the collapsed position is effected automatically.

L'invention consiste en ce que les parties porteuses du siège, comme la plaque d'assise (25), la plaque de dossier (27) se présentent sous forme de parties fraisées, et en ce qu'un ressort est actionné par le repliement vers le haut de la partie d'assise (2) et escamote le siège (1) dans un renfoncement (15). Ce siège se fabrique à un coût inférieur au coût actuel et se caractérise par un poids plus faible. Pour escamoter le siège dans un renfoncement depuis sa position d'emploi, en cas de non utilisation, il suffit de libérer le verrouillage de la partie d'assise, à la suite de quoi celle-ci se replie d'elle-même en position verticale, ce qui actionne un ressort qui escamote le siège dans ledit renfoncement. Le verrouillage en position escamotée est automatique.
