摘要： A gear cutting machine is provided with an endless chain for carrying a plurality of tools into contact with one or more workpieces to thereby form gear tooth configurations on the workpieces. The endless chain is pressed into firm contact with a first series of rollers in the zone in which its tools make contact with a workpiece to thereby prevent unwanted deflections of the endless chain and its tools relative to the workpiece. A second series of rollers prevents side-to-side deflections of the endless chain in the work zone.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel that can set and maintain appropriate fitting pre-load in serration fitting of a hub wheel and a constant velocity universal joint, by which wear resistance and strength of a serration part is improved, and fitting effective length of the serration fitting is reduced.SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel includes: an outer member 25 including an outside rolling surface in the inner circumference; an inner member including an inside rolling face including an inner rolling surface facing the outer rolling face; and a rolling element 30 interposed between the mutually facing rolling surfaces. The inner member is constituted of the hub wheel 1 attached to a wheel, and at least one inner wheel 24 fitted to the notched part 23 of the hub wheel, and the end part of the hub wheel is caulked to fix the inner wheel. A female serration 42 is formed in the inner circumference of a hole part 22 of the hub wheel. A hardened layer is provided in the forming region of the female serration. The female serration is formed by machining with a cemented carbide broaching tool after the hardened layer H is formed and caulked.
