摘要： A clutch having an outer member, an inner member mounted in the outer member, a cage interposed between the outer and inner members and cam elements movably mounted in pockets formed in the cage. Torque-setting elastic members are provided between the cage and one of the inner and outer members so that while the torque on the elastic member is smaller than a preset value, they will rotate in unison with some clearance left therebetween in the direction of rotation. When the torque on the elastic member gets larger than the preset value, the elastic member deforms to allow the cage to turn relative to the member engaged therewith. Now, the cam elements are pushed by the cage into engagement with both cam surfaces formed on the inner periphery of the outer member and the outer periphery of the inner member, thus brining the two members into engagement.

摘要： One passive magnetic bearing (4) is arranged at one side of the impeller (3) and the other bearing (9) at the rotor side opposite the impeller. An active magnetic bearing with an electromagnet holds the impeller central against the effect of the passive magnetic bearings. The active magnetic bearing includes a multiple of combined electromagnets (20), each including a permanent magnet (21), lying on the other side of the impeller w.r.t. the housing part (2). An electromagnet controls the degree of freedom of the impeller, in the axis or rotation direction and around the centre of gravity. A control system (30) is provided for the zero power control of the active magnetic bearing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Semiconductor mfr. and medical instruments. Flow medium is not contaminated by electromagnets. Maintains driving power and increases radial stiffness with redn. of current consumption.

摘要： An angular ball bearing having an outer ring, a cage mounted in the outer ring and formed at equal circumferential intervals with pockets and balls received in the pockets, and an inner ring mounted in the cage. The cage is formed on the surface of the pockets with projections to prevent the balls from coming out of the pockets. When the balls are in abutment with the projections, the diameter of the circumscribed circle of the balls is equal to or smaller than the internal diameter of the outer ring. To assemble the angular ball bearing, the balls are set in the pockets in the cage, a resilient member having substantially the same external diameter as that of the inner ring and the resilient member is pushed out with the inner ring in an axial direction to fit the inner ring inside the balls.

摘要： To provide a compact bearing assembly equipped with a rotation sensor capable of detecting not only pulse signals for detecting the number of revolution, but also a home position signal, the bearing assembly equipped with the rotation sensor includes a rotatable member ( 2 ) and a non-rotatable member ( 3 ) with rolling elements ( 4 ) interposed between the rotatable and non-rotatable members ( 2 ) and ( 3 ) to permit the rotatable member ( 2 ) to be rotatable relative to the non-rotatable member ( 3 ). The rotatable member ( 2 ) is provided with a magnetic encoder ( 7 ) and the non-rotatable member ( 3 ) is provided with magnetic sensors ( 8 A) to ( 8 C). The magnetic encoder ( 7 ) includes first and second to-be-detected elements ( 7 A) and ( 7 B) each having a plurality of equally spaced, opposite magnetic poles defined therein so as to alternate with each other in a direction circumferentially thereof. The first to-be-detected element also has a magnetic characteristic disturbing element ( 15 ) provided at a predetermined site on a circumference of the magnetic encoder ( 7 ) for agitating a periodicity of the opposite magnetic poles. The two magnetic sensors ( 8 A) and ( 8 B) for detecting the first to-be-detected element ( 7 A) are spaced in a circumferential direction a distance greater than a circumferentially extending width of the disturbing element ( 15 ), and are so positioned as to be held in substantially phase-matched relation with a cycle of repetition of the opposite magnetic poles.
