    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanting mechanism of a rice transplanter capable of adjusting planting space to wide and narrow spacing.SOLUTION: An output shaft in a sprocket box and a center shaft in a planetary transmission system of a transplanting mechanism are fitted to form a fixed angle of inclination between them. A universal joint transmission, a pair of helical gears transmission, a combination transmission of a helical gear and a cylindrical gear or a helical internal gear transmission is adopted between a sun gear shaft of the transplanting mechanism and a sprocket shaft of the transmission, and an angle of inclination is made between the rotary work plane of a planetary gear carrier fitted to an input shaft and the output shaft so that the output shaft of the transmission and the input shaft of the transplanting mechanism are disposed with a gradient.
