摘要： The peak voltage of each discharge pulse is measured and, if the voltage of the pulse exceeds a high threshold value, also the time between the passing of that value and the moment the pulse voltage thereafter drops below a second lower threshold value. The two measurements are expressed in pulses that are combined, preferably by addition, to provide a regulating value, whose deviation (''''error'''') from a standard value is predicted for a coming period, taking account of recent electrode position change as well as regulating value trend. The sign of the predicted error determines in which direction the electrode drive motor will be energized, but if the predicted error is less than a threshold value no motor energization occurs until the next error prediction. The sense in which the regulation operates is so defined that at a time when the electrodes are not already in relative movement an increase in the regulating value, at least if it persists, causes the electrodes to be moved closer together.

摘要： This invention relates to an electro-eroding machine with a circuit for the control of at least one advancing device for a wire electrode and/or for a workpiece in a workpiece contour predetermined by data stored in an information carrier, the said data being converted, in consideration of the diameter of the wire electrode and the width of the operating gap, into the path curve of the axis of the wire electrode in consideration of the erosive condition in the operating gap. The information carrier comprises two computing units, one supplying control signals to driving means for advancing the wire electrode for a straight movement while the other supplies control signals to driving means for producing rotary movement. Each computing unit includes return memories which return the wire electrode by a certain length of the path curve in the event of trouble in the operating gap.

摘要： There is disclosed a method and apparatus for widening the field of application of electro-erosion machining techniques and for improving the conditions which arise in the work gap, this work gap being constituted by at least one tool electrode and at least one workpiece electrode and contains a liquid and/or gaseous medium. At least one generator is provided for delivering an operating voltage to the work gap. According to an important aspect of the present invention, a magnetic field is superimposed at the work gap upon the operating voltage, the magnetic lines of force of which magnetic field are situated essentially perpendicular to the erosion front.

摘要： Apparatus for influencing or controlling the vectors of output voltages from a direct current supply device feeding a multiconductor alternating current transmission system. The total voltage vector for each conductor is generated from two partial voltage vectors. Control of the magnitude of the total voltage vector is effected by phase-shifting the partial voltage vectors, each partial voltage vector being phase-shifted through the same angular magnitude but in opposite angular direction. In this manner, the total voltage vector for each conductor is maintained in a constant phase position even during automatic regulation and in the presence of an asymmetrical load.

摘要： In electro-erosion machining using a filamentary erosion electrode, a dielectric flushing medium (for spark-discharge erosion) or an electrolyte fluid (for electrochemical erosion) is fed from an outlet to the working area of the electrode in the direction of the electrode axis and in contact with it so as to cool the electrode and to reduce changes in the machining characteristics with changes in cutting direction. A continuously operable regenerating system, including deionising apparatus which is brought into, and out of, operation under the control of a conductivity measuring device, is provided for regenerating the used dielectric flushing medium in spark-discharge erosion machining.
