    • A waypoint information transmission method, apparatus and system for platooning, wherein same relate to the technical field of automatic driving. The method comprises: a waypoint information transmission apparatus receiving in real time waypoint information, sent by a vehicle-mounted apparatus of a leading vehicle, of each cycle (501); storing the waypoint information of each cycle to form historical waypoint information (502); receiving a waypoint information transmission control instruction sent by the vehicle-mounted apparatus of the leading vehicle, and determining target waypoint information from the historical waypoint information (503); and sending the target waypoint information to a first vehicle-mounted apparatus (504). The waypoint information of each cycle of the leading vehicle is independently stored and maintained by the waypoint information transmission apparatus. When a following vehicle waiting to join a team needs to join the team, the waypoint information transmission apparatus is responsible for determining the target waypoint information and sending the information to the first vehicle-mounted apparatus of the following vehicle waiting to join the team, and the vehicle-mounted apparatus of the leading vehicle does not need to send a large amount of waypoint information, thereby saving on communication resources of the leading vehicle, so that the problem of excessive occupation of communication resources of the leading vehicle can be prevented.
