摘要： The invention relates to a method of roughening a lasting insert on footwear and a device for implementing this method. Provided on the roughening machine, in each case on the inside of the two milling tools under the return force of a spring, are guide pins which project slightly upwards above the circumferential surface of the milling tools. Provided in the balling-out web of the insole of the lasted-on footwear, which is to be treated in the roughening machine, in which in other words the lasting insert is to be roughened, is a groove running all the way around, which over its entire length has the same distance from the insole outer edge and thus also to the edge of the shoe upper part where its shaft becomes the lasting insert. If the guide pin is guided along in the guide groove during the roughening process, the milling tool also always maintains exactly the same distance from the outer edge of the footwear. Over-millings in the region of the upper leather no longer occur.

摘要： The press is for smoothing the heel of an upper and inner sole for a shoe, mounted on a last. It has a smoothing head (4) that has an opening (6) corresponding to the heel part. Adjusting pegs (8,9) fit through this opening. The pegs are mounted on a block (7) held in the support block (2). A spring is fixed over the end of the studs and presses against the block. The mounting heads are fixed in groups of four on a head that pivots on a shaft (1) to four positions at 90 degrees to each other.

摘要： The last (1) is fitted on its heel part with two positioning studs (2) located on either side of the footwear symmetry axis. The studs enter corresponding holes (5) on the insole (6) and joint piece (4). The insole is reinforced on the heel part by a joint piece (4) and a plastics inserted layer (7) and further with a bottom cover layer (8). The insole and cover are of conventional material and the joint piece carries the usual steel inset. The heel base of the heel (11) also carries positioning studs (9) which enter corresponding holes (12) in the joint piece and insole. This provides a positive fit between the parts concerned.
