摘要： A system of coverings for a rear mounted spare tire having a central backup camera such as the Jeep® is provided. The coverings including a hard cover with either a hard rim mount or a sewn on soft rim mount. The soft rim mount can have locking loops for a hidden cable lock. A multi-tiered face is both decorative and designed to protect the camera with a rubber framed window and built in awning. A soft cover option provides a two piece camera shield that is mounted into. The center of the soft cover with screws or the like. The front hood of the camera shield has an awning for the camera that does not obfuscate the view of the camera. Optional ornaments or brake lights can also be mounted onto the camera shield. The camera shield can be used without a tire cover for protection and mounting the ornament or light.

摘要： The invention is a solar and/or battery powered umbrella with a light directing enhancement. Specifically, the umbrella is configured to provide a light within the inside of the umbrella canopy, while also being capable of use as a handheld flashlight. The umbrella includes a handle comprising a grip that allows the user to hold and maneuver the umbrella, as well as control and operate the light source. The umbrella also includes an illuminator positioned above the handle, adjacent to the umbrella canopy. An inner covering is provided to block user light exposure when the illuminator is in use. Advantageously, the disclosed umbrella allows a user to see in the dark while it is raining, and also provides a convenient storage option for both an umbrella and flashlight.

摘要： A linear seat belt pretensioner includes a housing with a sealed axial cavity and a piston (52, 152, 232, 352, 452) slidable in the cavity. A gas generator (76, 166, 156, 376, 476) deploys into the axial cavity, thereby propelling the piston outward. Because the axial cavity is well sealed, the arrangement retains the gas pressure upon deployment and is capable of a restart after a partial displacement if additional slack develops. The piston travels by a distance (X) corresponding to the piston travel and shortens the length of seat belt webbing available outside the pretensioner device by twice or thrice the distance (2X). The axial cavity can be sealed with a bladder element, such as a rolling sock (38). Alternatively, the seal may be established by a hollow piston (152) forming a ballistic seal with the wall of the cavity under pressure.
