    • The present invention concerns a valve assembly for low- pressure applications of the controlled recirculation of the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine (MCI), the body whereof (1) comprises a flow conduit (Ia) with at least one entry section and one exit section, as well as at least one moving element (5) with valve function, cooperating with a valve seat (6) and consisting of the coupling of one bearing element and of one sealing element. The valve body comprises a main conduit (Ia), with a first outflow section (2) and a second outflow section (3) at the two ends, and a secondary conduit (1b), which has a third outflow section (4), at one of the ends thereof, and which, at the other end, connects to said main conduit through an interface section (9a). Said moving element (5) is a sealing element of the valve seat and, at the same time, a partialisation means of the flow rate of the flows in said main and secondary conduits; for this reason it is capable of moving, in its path between the closing position on said valve seat (6) and its fully-open position, on a first portion exclusively within the secondary conduit (1b), namely between the closing position on said valve seat (6) and said interface section (9), and subsequently, on a second portion, through the port of said primary conduit (Ia). Said moving element is in the form of a vane and disc, where the vane-shaped element takes on the flow-adjusting function and the disc- shaped element takes on the valve seat sealing function. The invention furthermore concerns a recirculation system of the exhaust gases in an internal combustion engine, wherein said valve assembly can be inserted on the (MCI) engine, intake side or discharge side.

    • EGR assembly of an internal combustion engine, which uses a poppet valve, as a fluid-intercepting member, and which comprises an electric motor (1) , the shaft of which drives the valve stem through a gear reduction mechanism comprising a rack (6) and pinion (5) coupling, as well as emergency shutting spring means (4) which push said valve into its shutting position. According to the invention, the rack is a separate member from the valve, sliding according to the valve axis and which controls it through axial pressure on the valve stem. The rack is slidable along said axis by a run which is greater than the valve run. Electronic control means feed said electric motor with at least an initial power impulse, which moves the rack in a short run away from the valve stem, followed by an initial approaching and impact run. A position sensor (15) is further provided, capable of detecting the axial position of the valve (2) with respect to the seat thereof .

    • The invention concerns a valve assembly for the recirculation of the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, to an intake manifold of the engine, through a by-pass or respectively through a cooling device. The valve assembly comprises means for the deviation of an adjusted amount of exhaust gases, from a single inlet of exhaust gases (Gsc) to two outlets (13b, 14b), controlled by two distinct closing valves (13, 14), pushed by respective spring means (16). A single actuation means (21; 20, 36, 37; 42; 47; 20, 48, 49; 51) controls alternatively either one of said valves (13, 14), under the control of a single electric actuator (19, 25), controlled by an electronic central control unit, in association with a single position sensor (22, 30). The actuation means comprises a single rotary shaft (20, 43, 46, 52), whereon a rocker arm (21, 42, 47,51) is keyed, or a pair of cams (36,37; 48, 49) having angularly offset profiles, the two arms of the rocker arm, or the two cams, respectively, being apt to act on either one, respectively, of said valves.
