      SOLUTION: The ventilation system S is for ventilating a food related room interior 2 installed with cooking devices 3. The ventilation system S is provided with an air supply fan 6 introducing outside air into the room interior via a filter 7, a ventilation fan 11 exhausting air of the room interior 2 to the outside, a first detecting means 20 for detecting using states of the cooking devices 3, a second detecting means 17 for detecting a pressure difference between the room interior 2 and a room exterior, and a controller 25 controlling an air capacity of at least one of the air supply fan 6 or the exhaust fan 11 on the basis of results detected by the first detecting means and the second detecting means, and supplying an optimum air amount to the room interior 2 on the basis of the using states of the cooking devices 3 while maintaining a positive pressure of the room interior 2.
