A vibrator conveyer (Fig. 1) in the floor of the tipping body of the vehicle assists the flow of material towards the outlet 14. In the form shown vibrating platforms 6 mounted on springs 8, 9 are shaken by a vibrator motor 12 which may be electric, pneumatic or hydraulic and may be driven by a power source on the vehicle or by an external source. The outlet leads to a rotary valve 15 for entraining the material in a stream of air. The casing of the rotary valve 15 is vented into the body of the vehicle to equalise air pressures. In the alternative construction of Fig. 6 a pair of transverse shoots 21 near the rear of the vehicle body are supported by rubber mountings 22, 23 and are vibrated by eccentric devices 25 driven from motors 27. Several vibrators may be provided, serving two or more outlets.

    • Systems and methods for wireless communication can include a first unit configured to synchronously transmit a first digital audio packet redundantly in at least a first dedicated slot and a second dedicated slot over a time period, and a second unit configured to receive wireless transmissions from the first unit. In certain embodiments, the second unit does not listen for a transmission in the second dedicated slot if the first digital audio packet is received in the first dedicated slot. In certain embodiments, the units are encoded with a group code that identifies group members, such that the units only receive data packets transmitted by group members with the same group code.

    • A plunger moves from a retracted position to an extended position to engage a document which is on a receiving platform to push the document through an opening in the receiving platform and towards a stacking platform to stack the document on the stacking platform. The plunger moves from the extended position back to the retracted position to allow a biasing force which is acting on the stacking platform to press the document which has just been stacked on the stacking platform against the receiving platform. A supporting mechanism supports first and second plate members of the receiving platform for pivoting movement between a non-parallel position in which the plate members form a substantially wide V-shape to cup the document as the plunger pushes the document through the opening and onto the stacking platform, and a parallel position in which the plate members are substantially parallel to each other as the plunger moves back to the retracted position to allow the biasing force which is acting on the stacking platform to press the document which has just been stacked on the stacking platform against the receiving platform.
