    • A cable connector assembly has a first connector, a second connector and a ribbon cable connecting the first and the second connectors. The first connector includes a first insulating housing, a number of first contacts and a first shielding covering the first insulating housing. Each first contact includes a first contacting portion, a first retaining portion and a first connection portion. The first shielding has a first grounding section. The second connector includes a second insulating housing, a number of second contacts and a second shielding. Each second contact includes a second contacting portion, a second retaining portion and a second connection portion. The second shielding has a second ground section. The ribbon cable includes a number of wires, each wire having one end electrically connecting with the first connection portions and the first grounding section and having the other end electrically connecting the second connection portions and the second ground section.

    • A system and method detects errors occurring in a computing device. The computing device includes a central processing unit (CPU) and a memory. The method sets an interruption tag for the computing device and initializes the interruption tag as zero, and detects a general purpose input output (GPIO) signal output from the CPU through a GPIO interface. The method further determines whether the GPIO signal is in a first voltage level at every time interval, and adds one to the interruption tag when the GPIO signal is switched from the first voltage level to a second voltage level. In addition, the method determines that inter errors occur in the CPU if the interruption tag is equal to one, and determines that multi-bit errors occur in the memory if the interruption tag is greater than one.

    • A cable connector assembly includes a housing including a main portion and a mating portion extending forwardly from the main portion, a number of contacts received in the housing and including first contacts and second contacts; a number of first wires connecting with the first contacts; and a number of second wires connecting with the second contacts. Each first contact includes a first contacting section and a first termination section exposed beyond the housing. Each second contact includes a second contacting section and a second termination section exposed beyond the housing. The first termination section electrically connects with corresponding first wire via Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC). The second termination section electrically connects with corresponding second wire via soldering.

    • An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (10), a number of first contacts (21) and second contacts (22) retained in the insulative housing and a metallic shell (40) enclosing the insulative housing. Each first contact (21) includes a resilient first contacting portion (212) and each second contact (22) includes a flat second contacting portion (222) located at a front of the resilient first contacting portions. The metallic shell includes a number of peripheral walls jointly forming a receiving cavity (410) for receiving a mateable connector. At least one of the peripheral walls includes a heat dissipation slot (431) in communication with the receiving cavity (410) and a heat dissipation piece (47) attached to the heat dissipation slot (431) so that heat generated from the first contacts (21) and the second contacts (22) can be immediately emitted by the heat dissipation piece (47).
