摘要： A belt drive assembly (40) for driving tread rollers (35) of a belt- driven live roller conveyor (10) and associated methods are provided that uses an electrically actuated assembly to raise and lower a belt (50) into and out of engagement with tread rollers (35) to selectively transport or accummulate product. The assembly includes a stationary frame having a magnet and a movable frame having an attractant plate, or vice versa. The magnet may be an electromagnet or a solenoid. The movable frame is movable with respect to the stationary frame, such that when an electric current is applied to the magnet, the magnet and the attractant plate are magnetically drawn to each other and cause the movable frame to move towards a respective portion of the stationary frame to place the belt drive assembly (40) in a driving configuration in which at least one tread roller (35) of the conveyor (10) is engaged by the belt (50).

摘要： A plurality of slats having a head and a tail form a conveyor system. A sorter travels laterally across the slat to divert parcel across the slat. Each of the slats has a front edge and a rear edge located longitudinally apart from each other. The front edge and the rear edge are located at different vertical heights to create overlap between adjacent slats. The lower edge positioned vertically below the upper edge has an upper surface that curves downward from the conveying surface to the lower edge. The upper edge positioned vertically above the lower edge has a lower surface that curves downward from the upper edge towards the lower edge. A retention lip extends upward between the lower edge and the conveying surface to trap articles within the retention curve between the retention lip and the conveying surface.

摘要： An accumulation conveyor system for supporting and moving a plurality of objects. The conveyor system is divided into a plurality of zones wherein each zone includes a top and bottom conveying surface and wherein a space is defined between the top and bottom surfaces. Each zone also includes its own motor positioned external to the space between the conveying surfaces and coupled to the conveying surfaces via a non-slip connection. A control system is connected to the motor and controls the power to the motor so that the conveying surfaces in each zone can be moved independently. Whenever a sensor detects an empty downstream zone, it signals the control system of the upstream zone to power the motor and move the object to fill the empty zone. The control system may also be configured to allow a soft start wherein motor speed is increased gradually.

摘要： The belt tracking guide provides a stationary device that secures to a side rail of the conveyor system. The belt of the conveyor system travels between the two rails to transport objects through the conveyor system. The guides attach to the side rails allowing the belt to travel adjacent the guides. Each guide provides an upper guide finger and a lower guide finger. The guide fingers form a guide aperture located between the fingers. The belt travels through the guide apertures between the guide fingers. The guide finger redirects the belt away from the guide to center the belt.
