Method of buffering a spectrometric analogue-digital converter in a computerized pulse amplitude analyser unit, where the RAM buffer memory is set to zero, and then input signal measurement data is fed into that memory, while the collection of measurement data is interrupted by a signal from the computer reporting readiness for processing of the data contained in the RAM, and when the interrupt signal reporting readiness for data processing appears, a process is initiated whereby data is transferred from the buffer memory to computer memory using a data transmission method based on direct memory access (DMA), characterized in that input signal pulses are written in the buffer memory also during the time of DMA data transmission which lasts from the moment when the buffer generates a transmission request signal and the moment when a transmission permission signal appears.2. Circuit for buffering of a spectrometric analogue-digital converter in a computerized pulse amplitude analyser unit, where the input of the RAM buffer memory is connected to the analogue-digital converter, while the output of that memory is connected to the computer bus and to a control unit performing the functions of reading and writing information in memory, characterized in that connected to the control unit (4) is a phasing component (5) consisting of a circuit which synchronizes the input pattern with a clock cycle, while the circuit also contains a set of programmable counters (6) connected to the control unit (4) and to the bus of the computer (3).
