摘要： A microgrid is re-synchronized to a main grid or substation by determining a degree of bus angle or frequency mismatch and bus voltage mismatch between the microgrid and the main grid or substation prior to re-synchronization, determining an amount of power adjustment needed to reduce the bus angle or frequency mismatch and bus voltage mismatch to below respective predetermined thresholds, determining at least one participation factor for each microgrid bus, each participation factor indicating an amount of influence power injection by the corresponding bus has on the bus angle or frequency mismatch or on the voltage mismatch, allocating the amount of power adjustment to the microgrid buses in proportion to the participation factors assigned to the buses, and re-synchronizing the microgrid to the main grid or substation responsive to the bus angle or frequency mismatch and bus voltage mismatch satisfying the respective predetermined thresholds.

摘要： A switching system for switching between phases in a multi-phase power distribution system includes a switch for selectively connecting a lateral line to feeder conductors of different phases in a multi-phase power distribution system. Feeder terminals of the switch are configured to connect to feeder conductors of the multi-phase power distribution system. At least one output terminal of the switch is configured to connect to the lateral line. The feeder terminals are spaced about the body of the switch. A shaft and a rotatable contact member extending radially from the shaft are configured for rotating within the switch body to selectively connect the at least one output terminal to any one or more of the feeder terminals. At least one controller operates the switch to selectively change connection of the lateral line between the feeder conductors.

摘要： An intelligent fuse provides the operational status of the power network upon whit the fuse is installed to a mobile device of a remote user. A fuse electronic circuit embedded in the fuse holder of the fuse captures the characteristic values of the power network and transmits the data to the mobile device. The mobile device ha an application installed thereon to calculate the distance to fault location from the recording fuse using the fuse electronic circuit-captured data. The fuse electronic circuit-captured data is further used to visualize the data collected at the measurement points of the electrical system upon which the fuse is installed.

摘要： Automatic reclosing of a fault interrupting device is overridden by establishing communication with a control system (104) for a fault interrupting device (106) operable to open responsive to a fault on an electric distribution system and automatically reclose after a predetermined time delay, and analyzing data for the electric distribution system by an apparatus separate from the fault interrupting device control system (104) and having higher performance than the fault interrupting device control system (104), to determine whether to block the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device (106) before the fault interrupting device (106) automatically recloses. An autoreclosing block command is generated by the apparatus if the apparatus determines the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device (106) should be blocked. The autoreclosing block command is sent from the apparatus to the fault interrupting device control system (104) to prevent the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device (106) after the predetermined time delay.
