    • A system for supporting a microphone comprises a microphone clip having a holder, a shock absorber coupled to the holder, and a mount plate coupled to the shock absorber. The shock absorber comprises one or more webs having one or more openings defined therein, and the mount plate defines a pair of generally opposed channels. The clip is attachable to a grip plate mounted on a stand. The grip plate defines a pair of lips, each being configured to engage each of the generally opposed channels on the mount plate. A microphone support device comprises a microphone sleeve, a shock absorber integrally formed with the microphone sleeve, and a mount plate integrally formed with the shock absorber. The shock absorber comprises one or more webs having a plurality of openings. A grip plate is selectively engageable with the mount plate and is adjustably mountable on a microphone stand.

    • A stand for a stringed instrument includes a base, a post, a lower support, and an upper support. The post extends between a lower end portion and an upper end portion, the lower end portion is proximally located relative to the base, and the upper end portion is distally located relative to the base. The lower support is disposed relative to the lower end portion of the post. The upper support is disposed relative to the upper end portion of the post. The lower support is selectively moveable relative to the upper support, between a receiving position and a locking position. The lower support is biased toward the locking position.

    • A mounting bar has a body portion and a mounting slot extending at least part way through the body portion near an end thereof. The mounting slot is defined by a first radius extending through the body portion. The slot is further defined by a bottom surface substantially tangent to the first radius, the bottom surface extending toward the end of the body portion. A leading surface, closer to the end of the body portion than the first radius, extends from the bottom surface of the slot to an outside surface of the body portion. A clamping mechanism is provided and is operable to secure the mounting bar to another support that is positioned in the mounting slot.

    • An apparatus for supporting a tablet includes a case for receiving the tablet. A swivel includes a socket and a ball disposed and retained therein. The ball is selectively rotatable relative to the socket. The ball is coupled to the case and the socket is coupled to a mounting post. The mounting post is releasably fixed to a mounting bar. The mounting bar defines a mounting slot configured to fix the apparatus relative to a structure, such as a microphone stand or the like. The apparatus includes clamping mechanisms to enable a user to selectively fix and release the components of the apparatus such that a user can configure and fix the apparatus to a desired position for interfacing with the tablet, and then lock the apparatus in that desired position.
