摘要： TV GAME APPARATUS A TV-type game employs a raster screen television for presenting of game symbols. Player operated control switches are encoded to move the symbols. A microprocessor reads the switches. A dually addressed random access memory is employed as the interfacing between the screen and the processor which otherwise function as essentially separate and distinct devices. The memory provides a static storage of the screen pattern for each point in the raster lines with a portion assigned as a processor scratch pad. The memory may be dynamic with periodic refreshing and constructed with individual chips for each of the several bits in a word. The chips are grouped for alternate refreshing and powered during access periods. The processor updates the memory during idle display access periods. The memory is accessed in multiple bits words or bytes for display and processing. For display, a parallel to serial output latch is employed. The previous symbol position and pose is stored in the scratch pad and is erased and rewritten in a new position and pose. The controls may provide encoding. A hardwired bit shifter with programmed shift level rapidly shifts the symbol bits before placing in memory. A high speed memory and low speed processor are shown with separate clocks and a special synchronizer unit.

摘要： A limiter for the track gate rate of movement of a target being tracked by a radar system. The movement of the track gate is limited to a small increment, such as +/- 1/120 nautical miles, between consecutive probe pulses requiring also that a target response must be in fact received in order to produce movement of the track gate. The probability that the track gate will be "pulled-off" a valid target by false targets or other noise is reduced significantly. Particularly suitable for a midair collision avoidance system such as SECANT.

摘要： A computer for determining range rate in knots of a target being tracked by a radar system. The range rate is determined from any change in target range that occurs during a tracking period. Statistical smoothing is used to increase accuracy of the calculated range rate. This is achieved by summing and storing the target range count for a first and third portion of a full track period and interrupting the summing and storing step for an intermediate second portion of the track period. The difference of the first and third range count is divided by an appropriate conversion factor to determine the range rate and also the polarity relation indicating an approaching or departing target. Particularly suitable for a midair collision avoidance system such as SECANT.

In one aspect of the invention, the exemplary apparatus includes a medical device to treat a vulnerable plaque within a body lumen, where the medical device is adapted to position a rupturing device to rupture a fibrous cap of a vulnerable plaque. In one particular embodiment, the medical device includes a rupturing wire having a predetermined pattern to enable the rupturing device to rupture the fibrous cap of the vulnerable plaque. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.
