摘要： The invention relates to a medicament dispensing device, particularly a multi-dose powder inhaler, a medicament magazine thereof, and a method of removing a medicament from the medicament magazine as depicted in exemplary FIG. 1. The inhaler has a mouthpiece (9) and an air channel (4) connected thereto, as well as a medicament magazine with at least one medicament chamber containing a powdered medicament. A drive current is produced in the air channel, while a vacuum flow (5′) can be produced by the drive current and a constriction formed in the air channel. This narrowest part of the air channel that produces the vacuum flow is connected to a removal opening (2) which communicates with a control opening (3), in order to form an emptying current through the control opening via the removal opening. In a preferred embodiment the at least one medicament chamber including the control opening, the removal opening and a fill opening are housing in the one-piece medicament magazine.

The rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) is provided with a pore-free sealed surface that facilitates sterilization. Second openings (20), which are smaller than the first opening (2) and cannot receive the containers, are also provided in the carrier plate to facilitate sterilization in an autoclave.

摘要： The process for applying a thermally attached lubricating coating on an interior wall of a cylindrical medicinal container includes applying a thermally attachable lubricant to an interior wall of the container; uniformly spreading or homogenizing the applied lubricant on the wall to form a lubricating coating and thermally attaching the lubricating coating by irradiating the lubricating coating with infrared radiation selectively in a cylindrical region of the container at elevated temperatures above a maximum operating temperature of the container. The apparatus for performing the process includes an insertable spraying device for applying the thermally attachable lubricant (3) to the interior wall of the container (1) from a supply reservoir; a device for homogenizing the lubricant to form the lubricating coating (4) and a rod-shaped infrared radiation source (5) insertable into an interior space of the container. The radiation source has a radiation screen (5a, 6, 7) for keeping the radiation away from the container outlet.

摘要： Numerous applications for hollow glass bodies made from low melting glass material require an increase in the chemical resistance of the interior surface of the glass body. In order to avoid a disadvantageous de-alkalizing process the hollow glass body must be provided with an interior coating in a comparatively expensive prior art process. In an improved process according to the invention a glass tube acting as a semifinished product from which the hollow glass body is made is provided with an interior coating of oxide material, preferably SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2 or mixtures thereof, having a predetermined coating thickness according to the required chemical resistance or working conditions for forming the glass body and then the hollow glass body is made from the glass tube. The coating is advantageously provided by means of a PICVD process.

This method includes providing an extended flat mat made of elastomeric material including connected protruding elastomeric components; coating at least one side of the mat including the connected elastomeric components by means of a PECVD or PICVD method to provide a silicon dioxide layer containing carbon, hydrogen and/or nitrogen on the at least one side of the mat; and punching the connected elastomeric components out of the mat to form individual unconnected elastomeric components, each at least partially coated with a portion of the layer.

This glass bottle (1) has a sprayed-on synthetic coating (4) to protect it against shattering and splintering, preventing the user from being injured by the broken bottle. To substantially enhance this safety, the neck (2) of the bottle (1) has been fitted with a bulge like edge (3) at the opening which is also coated with the synthetic material (4) and onto which the dosage valve (5) is mechanically attached by turning. Furthermore, the coating (4) consists of an elastic synthetic material with pronounced increased shrinkage properties used for the summoning of pre-stressing force on the glass body (1) and it exhibits several hole-like pressure relieving openings (7) permitting rapid pressure release in case of shattering.
