The safety device of a winch includes a power module, a detection module and a control module, and further includes a display driving module and a display module. The display driving module is electrically connected to the display module. The display driving module and the detection module are electrically connected to the power module. The power module, the detection module and the display driving module are electrically connected to the control module. The invention further provides a winch, further including a detection device and an expression device. The detection device is used for detecting the working load of a motor. The expression device is used for expressing the load according to the detection signal of the detection device.
