摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing wood, and a composition.SOLUTION: The method for treating wood comprises a step in which the wood comes in contact with a mixture of liquid or water-soluble organic ammonium carbonate with an active component for inducing an invertebrate to evade. The organic ammonium carbonate is shown by formula (1): [NRRRR][R(COO)](wherein R, R, R, R, Rand n are in the description). The active component for preventing wood from going rotten contains a chelating agent for inducing the invertebrate to evade. The chelating agent is selected from the group comprising aminopolycarboxylic acid or the salt thereof, hydroxylic acid or the salt thereof, phosphonate or the salt thereof and a mixture of them.

摘要： A composition and a method for use in suppressing growth and/or proliferation of cancer cells in vivo and in vitro is provided. The composition includes an alcoholic lignan extract prepared from coniferous species optionally in combination with betulonic acid or betulinic acid. The composition inhibits growth and/or proliferation of at least prostate and melanoma cancer cells in vitro. Combination of the alcoholic lignan extract and betulonic or betulinic acid has a synergic effect specifically in inhibition of melanoma and prostate cancer cell proliferation and toxicity. Oral daily administration of the composition decreases or in some cases abolishes tumors of patients with breast cancer, brain cancer or colon cancer. The composition is suitable for use in cancer treatment in pet animals as well.
