摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain expanded and extruded polyolefin foams using environmentally benign non-VOC methyl formate as a blowing agent.SOLUTION: A blowing agent can be a blend further including at least one co-blowing agent, preferably an environmentally friendly species (e.g., non-VOC), which is either a physical co-blowing agent (e.g. an inorganic agent, a hydrocarbon, a halogenated hydrocarbon, a hydrocarbon with polar functional group(s) or any combination thereof), or a chemical co-blowing agent, or combinations thereof. The blowing agent blend can include any combination of methyl formate and one or more co-blowing agents. The polymer foam can include polyethylene, polypropylene or a combination thereof. The methyl formate-based blowing agent blends produce stable foams for various applications, including containers, packaging systems, as well as for insulation and protective cushioning. Processes for the preparation of such foams are also provided.

The non-linear path of weakness is spaced from the hinge to define a tamper indicator region between the non-linear path of weakness and the hinge, wherein the tamper indicator region remains joined to the hinge after the frangible connection is ruptured. Methods of containing a product in a tamper-evident container are also disclosed.

摘要： Dual-compartment food container is provided having an base portion including a base panel having first and second compartments defined therein and a cover portion including a cover panel joined by a common hinge portion. The cover portion is movable relative the base portion about the hinge portion from a substantially 180-degree open position to a closed position, wherein in the closed position, the cover portion is disposed over the first compartment with the second compartment extending beyond the cover portion. Each of the base portion and cover portion include at least one interlocking tab to releasably latch the base portion and cover portion. An engagement feature of the interlocking tabs can also provide a tactile indication to a user that the cover portion is secured in the closed position. A unitary blank for forming the dual-compartment food container from a sheet of blank material is also provided.
