摘要： An on-vehicle three-dimensional video system is provided for a vehicle and a method is provided for monitoring a surrounding environment of a vehicle. The on-vehicle three-dimensional video system includes, but is not limited to cameras, a display screen, a control module, and a power supply device. The cameras are provided in pairs for filming the surrounding environment of the vehicle from different angles, and the display screen is able to bring about a three-dimensional video effect according to pairs of video signals from the cameras. With the on-vehicle three-dimensional video system, a realistic three-dimensional output of the surrounding environment of the vehicle is realized on the display screen so that the driver can clearly know about the precise relative position of a corresponding portion of the vehicle with respect to the surrounding environment.

The barrier mask is separated from a viewer having a right eye and a left eye. The display sheet is configured to display an image comprising first and second sets of image strips, and the barrier mask is configured to produce a plurality of alternating viewing strips and blocking strips. The viewing strips are positioned, oriented, and configured so as to allow the right eye to view the first set of image strips and the left eye to view the second set of image strips, and the blocking strips are positioned, oriented, and configured to prevent the right eye from viewing the second set of image strips and the left eye from viewing the first set of image strips.

The first polarizer and the second polarizer are oriented such that the image is visible from the first side of the at least partially transparent member and not visible from the second side of the at least partially transparent member. The second polarizer may have a second polarization axis that is substantially orthogonal to a first polarization axis of the first polarizer.
