    • A closure for a container includes a cover plate adapted to be removably secured to a top end portion of the container and a sip hole configured within the cover plate and adapted to be positioned on a dispensing opening configured in the top end portion of the container. The closure further includes a reclosable lid comprising a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion of the reclosable lid is hinged to the cover plate for enabling a pivotal motion of the reclosable lid. The pivotal motion enables the reclosable lid to assume at least one of an open position and a closed position. The closure also includes a rubber seal configured on the second end portion of the reclosable lid, the rubber seal adapted to be received in the sip hole for sealing the sip hole in the closed position of the reclosable lid.

    • The goggles of the invention utilize a substantially rigid frame with separate top and bottom individually rotatable elements, namely an upper browbar and a lower nosepiece, that firmly capture the lens from above and below. The lens is further secured to the frame by projections on each of the browbar and nosepiece which fit through apertures in the lens. At the top, a post which projects forwardly from the frame is received in the well of the browbar by snap-fit engagement. At the bottom, a prong on the rotatable nosepiece passes through a bottom aperture of the lens and is received in a recess of a bottom portion of the frame by snap-fit engagement. The apertures and cooperating projections are preferably located along the center of a one-piece lens. Thus, the rotatable browbar and nosepiece capture the lens top and bottom by edgewise compression and hold the lens front-to-back.

    • Polyethers containing pendant azide groups are cured without a catalyst byyclo-addition with diacetylenes to form triazole cross-linked, energetic binders having improved mechanical properties and stability. The polyethers typically have three hydroxy-terminated chains each of about 5000 to about 50,000 daltons. Ideally, only one azide group per chain reacts by cyclo-addition since the diacetylene is added in a proportion of about one molecule to each two polyether chains. Repeating units of glycidal azide, azidomethylmethyloxetane, bis-azidomethyloxetane/nitratomethylmethyloxetane, and bis-azidomethyloxetane/azidomethylmethyloxetane are believed effective as polyethers when used with the diethynlbenzenes 1,4-bis(ethynl)benzene, 1,4-bis(ethynlcarbonyl)benzene, and 1,3-bis(cyanoethynl)benzene. The polyethers may be further cross-liked at the hydroxyl terminations by urethane bonds.

    • A flame inhibitor coating for application to those surfaces of a solid prllant grain in a rocket motor where burning is not desired such as the aft end of a perforated propellant grain which includes a barrier layer of a mixture of amine silane, a trialkoxypropylsilylamino prepolymer, and diglycidylether of polypropylene glycol, an epoxy applied to the grain surface and allowed to cure to a polysiloxane layer, and a flame inhibitor layer applied over the barrier layer consisting of a mixture of hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene and dimeryl diisocyanate with flake aluminum which is applied over the barrier layer and allowed to cure. The barrier layer prevents migration of nitrate esters from the solid propellant grain to the flame inhibitor layer thus preventing peeling and reduction of flame inhibiting properties. The polysiloxane barrier layer is also useful in itself as a flame inhibitor and can also be employed between the insulator/liner of the rocket motor and the solid propellant grain.
