A small-sized motor can be provided using the supporting device. The supporting device (1) comprises a bracket (2) having a nearly circular shape, a peripheral wall (3), and a bearing section (4) formed integrally with the bracket to support the end of the rotating shaft of a rotor in the center. The bearing section (4) has a hole (41) for receiving the rotating shaft. The hole (41) has an inner surface (42) which comes into contact with the rotating shaft and a bottom face (43) which comes into contact with the end face of the rotating shaft. In addition, the main body (2) has a pair of through holes (5) for passing lead wires and is manufactured by injection molding of a liquid crystal polymer.
