摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dividable tool using a joint with a relatively simple and ecconomical structure, which minimizes the hoop stress in the radial direction, and a crack of the combined member. SOLUTION: In a retchet head 14, a hole 30 furnished with a spline 28 is provided. The spline 28 has a top part 52 and side surface parts on both sides, being flat and making the angle α each other, and they are separated by valley parts 59. In a cylindrical pin 34, splines 44 are provided on the outer periphery. Each spline 44 has its top parts 60, and the side surface parts on both side, flat and forming the angle β each other, and they are separated by valley parts 68. By making the first side surface parts longer than the second side surface parts, as well as making the angle α larger than the angle β, the both side surface parts are pressure contacted, and a tight fit joint is formed by deforming one side or both sides, and clearances 70 are formed between the top parts 60 and the valley parts 59, while clearances 72 are formed between the top parts 52 and the valley parts 68 respectively.

CONSTITUTION: An overshoot compensation circuit includes a control circuit 31, an input terminal 32 receives an input torque signal, a potentiometer 39 produces a reference signal, a subtracting circuit 35 subtracts the reference signal from the input torque signal to produce a difference signal, and a differentiating circuit 40 differentiates the input torque signal to produce a compensation signal proportional to the change speed of applied torque. At the moment that the difference signal exceeds the compensation signal, a comparator 45 outputs a signal, and an operational amplifier 46 applies the output signal to an electric motor 27 through a FET 47 in response to it. As a result, a tactile signal is produced prior to the time that the input torque signal reaches the reference signal by a predetermined time period.

CONSTITUTION: When a step motor 50 rotates a shaft 40, a compression nut 43 and a compression spring 45 compress or extend a carbon pile 35, and change the resistance. A control assembly 60 containing a microprocessor, a feedback circuit and a variable timer converts the analog probe output from a battery and a charger to a digital signal, compares the output voltage and the load current with set reference values, drives the motor 50, and change the resistance of the carbon pile, thereby setting the load current or the output voltage of the battery as a reference value. The variable timer controls the loading time of a battery. A display 122 indicates the reference value, parameters during adjustment, the state of the timer, etc. As the result of automization of the carbon pile load, the test is easily enabled by one man work.
