摘要： A horizontal window blind apparatus (10) is disclosed for selectively controlling light transfer through a window (12). The apparatus (10) includes a frame (14) disposed within the window (12) and a tab (16) movably connected to and supported by the frame (14), the tab (16) having a first and a second end (18, 20). A slat (22) has a front and a rear edge (24, 26), the rear edge (26) of the slat (22) being connected to the first end (18) of the tab (16) such that the slat (22) is cantilevered from the tab (16). A further slat (34) is disposed parallel relative to the slat (22), the further slat (34) having a further front and a further rear edge (36, 38). The further rear edge (38) of the further slat (34) is connected to the first extremity (30) of the further tab (28) such that the further slat (34) is cantilevered from the further tab (28). The arrangement is such that in operation of the apparatus, when the tabs (16, 28) supported by the frame (14) are moved, the slats (22, 34) cantilvered to the tabs (16, 28) are correspondingly moved for selectively controlling the light transfer through the window (12) and for facilitating cleaning of the slats (22, 34).

摘要： A nut support tool (10) for assembly and disassembly of a nut on a vertically extending bolt assembly located on a casing. The bolt assembly including a lower nut engaged on a lower end of a threaded shaft. The nut support tool includes a vertical span assembly (36) having an upper support member (42) located at an upper end thereof for engagement on an upper end of the bolt assembly, whereby the nut support tool is supported from the bolt assembly upper end with the vertical span structure extending parallel to the bolt assembly. An arm assembly (46) extends from a lower end of the vertical span assembly and includes a lower guide pin (50) for engagement with an access opening formed in a lower surface of the lower nut. The arm assembly is configured to support the lower nut, and to swivel relative to the casing.
