摘要： A memory card connector (10) is provided with an insulating housing (12) having a rear terminal-mounting section (26) which mounts a plurality of terminals having contact portions for engaging appropriate contacts on a memory card (22). A metal shell (14) is mounted on the housing and combines therewith to define a cavity having a front insertion opening to permit insertion and withdrawal of the memory card into and out of the connector. A card eject mechanism includes a slider (50) movably mounted on the housing and engageable with the memory card for movement therewith into and out of the cavity. The slider has a cam slot (52) defining movement of the card in the card-insertion and card-withdrawal directions. A cam pin (64) is operatively engageable in the cam slot of the slider. 摘要： A card connector for connecting different types of IC cards includes a housing for receiving an IC card for movement between a preload position and a latched position. A slider is movably mounted on the housing and engageable with the IC card for movement therewith between the preload and latched positions. A latch mechanism is operatively associated between the slider and the housing for latching slider in the latch position. A lock member on the slider is engageable in a locking position with a lock portion of one type of IC card for locking the IC card to the slider, the lock member being movable to an inoperative position to allow an IC card of a second type which does not have a lock portion to be inserted into the connector.

摘要： A card connector is adapted to receive first and second electronic cards, each having a plurality of contact pads. The second card being wider than the first card. The connector includes an insulative housing with a plurality of first and second terminals mounted therein for engaging respective ones of the contact pads of the electronic cards when the cards are inserted into the connector. A cover member is pivotally mounted on the housing to permit movement of the cover member between an open position at which one of said first and second electronic cards may be inserted and a closed position at which the electronic card inserted into the cover is operatively positioned within the connector. The cover member has first and second sets of positioning members configured to position and hold electronic cards exclusively at the desired location for such card and wherein some of the positioning members of the first set also act as positioning members of the second set.

摘要： A card connector is configured for receiving a generally rectangular card therein. The card has contact pads and generally parallel first and second sides with a cut-away portion formed in the first side in proximity to a front end of the card. The cut-away portion includes a short length extending from the front end generally parallel to the first side, and a tapered shoulder part extending from the short length to the first side. The connector includes an insulative housing with first and second spaced apart sidewalls that define a cavity therein for receiving the card in an insertion direction. A tapered surface is provided adjacent the first sidewall to guide an improperly inserted card at an angle to the insertion direction and a second sidewall recess is formed in the second sidewall to permit entrance of a corner part of such improperly inserted card. A plurality of electrically conductive terminals are mounted in the housing and configured to engage the contact pads of the card upon proper insertion of the card into the housing. A metal shell is also mounted on the housing.
