    • The system comprises a telephone exchange (12) and at least one node (14a, 14b). Each node comprises a first central processor circuit for controlling the node function, a first sound processor circuit connected to the first central processor circuit, a loudspeaker and a microphone, a first network control unit connected to the first central processor circuit and a first network port and a first transceiver connected to the first central processor circuit and used for the wireless transmission and receiving of network and sound signals via a first antenna. The first sound processor circuit is used to send sound signals picked up by the microphone to the first central processor circuit. The network control unit is used to send network signals between the first central processor circuit and first network port. The exchange comprises a second processor circuit for controlling exchange function, a memory unit connected to the second processor circuit and used to store programs and data, a network exchange module located inside the memory unit for processing network signal transmission between the exchange and nodes, a sound exchange module located inside the memory unit for processing sound signal transmission between the exchange and nodes and a second transceiver connected to the second processor circuit and used for the wireless transmission and receiving of network and sound signals via a second antenna. Network signals from the first network port and noise signals from the microphone are received by the node and sent via the first transceiver to the second transceiver, the network and sound exchange modules process the network and sound signals and then send them to the first transceiver via the second transceiver so that the node can transmit network and sound signals via the loudspeaker and first network port.
