摘要： An embodiment of the invention provides a system for predicting future glucose levels in an individual including a glucose measuring device for generating glucose signals representing glucose levels obtained from the individual at fixed time intervals and an analyzer. The analyzer uses a glucose prediction function that is portable between individuals irrespective of health of the individuals. The glucose prediction function includes model coefficients that are invariant between the individuals. The glucose prediction function outputs the future glucose levels by weighing the previous glucose signals obtained from the individual by the model coefficients.

摘要： A vaccine delivered by transcutaneous immunization provides an effective treatment against infections by pathogens such as, for example, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) and/or for sympt oms of diarrheal disease caused thereby. The device preferably includes night vision goggles, and an excitation source that generates light of a wavelength to activate the contrast agent. A filter preferably is attached to the night vision goggles, wherein the filter passes light sufficient to form an image of the region of tissue, and wherein the image may be assessed to determine the viability of the region of tissue.
