    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory for moxa cautery using a moxa bar which facilitate consciousness compensation and miasma removal by moxa cautery by selecting two kinds of thermal stimulation, either strong or weak, and is safe and easy-to-use even by a visually impaired person. SOLUTION: This accessory comprises a guard (3) and a moxa guide (1). The guard is a longitudinal cylindrical part having an open upper end, a lower end and an aperture. The aperture is located closely to the upper end of the guard (3) and has a size that a moxa bar (6) can penetrate. The moxa guide is a half cylindrical part elongated laterally. One end of the moxa guide (1) is formed in one piece with the moxa guard (3) so that the center of the penetrating aperture matches with the center of a virtual circle containing the cross section of the moxa guide (1). In addition, a moxa stop (2) is provided on the inside of the guard (3) on the extension of the moxa guide (1) for locating the combustion part of the moxa bar (6) in the center of the guard (3).     • The present invention is directed to an annealing apparatus adapted for performing anneal processing with respect to a magneto optical recording medium, which comprises a diffraction optical unit (3) for optically separating light beams emitted from a laser light source (1) into first light beams which are the 0 (zero)-th order diffracted light beams and second and third light beams which are the first order diffracted light beams, an object lens (5) for converging the first light beams to irradiate the first light beams thus converged onto magnetic layers of guide grooves or land portions forming both sides of the guide grooves, and for converging the second and third light beams to irradiate the second and third light beams thus converged onto magnetic layers in the vicinity of the boundary portions between guide grooves and land portions, and a biaxial actuator unit (6) for controlling the object lens (5) on the basis of linear characteristic of a first tracking error signal generated on the basis of intensity distribution of light quantities of rays of return light of the first light beams so that the first light beams follow the guide grooves or the land portions.

    • A magneto-optical information recording/reproducing apparatus in which a magneto-optical information recording medium at least including a first magnetic film having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, and a second magnetic film to which information recorded on the first magnetic film is transferred by irradiation of a laser beam, is used so that a readout laser beam is irradiated onto the second magnetic film to thereby readout the information transferred to the second magnetic film. The apparatus includes a 2-split detection circuit for receiving the readout laser beam reflected from the second magnetic film of the recording medium, and a subtraction circuit in which output signals of the two detection elements of the 2-split detection circuit are subtracted from each other to generate a differential signal. The apparatus further comprises a circuit for making a spot of the laser beam jump one track before readout of the information from the magneto-optical information recording medium, a positive/negative balance correction circuit for detecting an amplitude ratio between positive and negative side amplitudes in a track jump signal generated in the differential signal from the subtraction circuit in response to the track jump to thereby output a correction signal in accordance with the amplitude ratio, and an addition circuit for adding the correction signal to the differential signal to thereby generate a tracking error signal for tracking control used in readout of the magneto-optical information from the magneto-optical information recording medium.

    • A pulley has a hub fixed to a rotating shaft. An outer wheel is disposed on the outer periphery of the hub and around which a belt is suspended, and a unidirectional clutch is interposed between the hub and the outer wheel. A cam face for forming a wedged space of the unidirectional clutch is formed at the inside of the pulley, whereby the unidirectional clutch is switched between a free state and a locked state through the rotational variation of the hub which rotates integrally with the rotating shaft to reduce the transmission of the rotational variation from the hub to the outer wheel. Further, the unidirectional clutch can operate stably without suffering the effect of the rotational centrifugal force.
