    • A card edge connector for receiving a card which is rotatably assembled includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a pair of metal pieces. The insulative housing has a inserted slot for receiving the card and a key within the inserted slot for anti-mismating of the card. The terminals are arranged in a single row and located at one side of the inserted slot. Each terminal includes a solder portion extending out of the insulative housing and a contacting portion projecting into the inserted slot. The metal pieces locate at the other side of the inserted slot, each of which includes a mounting portion and an abutting portion projecting into the inserted slot. The terminals are arranged in a single row for reducing the height of the card edge connector.

    • The present invention relates to an engineering design method and a system of implementing same. In one embodiment, the method includes a construction process of knowledge components and a design process based on the knowledge components. The knowledge components pack universal modules in the standard forms. Accordingly, the knowledge components are independent from design layouts or design processes of products, and reusable in different projects and platforms. The design process integrates a variety of software platforms via an uniform environment and calls the knowledge components to complete the engineering designs. Further, the design process defines a data relation and an execution relation of the knowledge components and establishes a relationship between the knowledge components without programming. The universal module comprises at least operations, methods, rules and/or flows of an engineering design process and engineering analysis process.

    • A card edge connector for a daughter board comprises a connector body and a fastener. The fastener has a base portion with a pair of latching arms for latching the daughter board, a movable portion mounted on the base portion and being able to move in a top-to-bottom direction, a spring respectively abutting against the base portion and the movable portion at opposed ends thereof and a locking equipment. The daughter board inserts into the connector body and is downwardly pressed toward the fastener; then the movable portion of the fastener moves downwardly and brings the latching arms rotating outwardly to latch the daughter board. Then, the locking equipment locks the movable portion to keep the daughter board in a reliably electrical connecting with the card edge connector and a print circuit board.
