摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board-to-board connector wherein the fitted state of a first connector and a second connector is surely held since a first reinforcing fitting is mutually engaged with a second reinforcing fitting to display strong enough locking force, it is not necessary to separately prepare a grounding terminal since the first reinforcing fitting and the second reinforcing fitting function as the grounding terminals, a first connector and a second connector can be miniaturized and their costs can be suppressed, furthermore, strength of the first reinforcing fitting is high, the first reinforcing fitting is never seceded from a first housing, and reliability can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The first reinforcing fitting is equipped with first body parts mounted to the sidewall parts on both sides of an insertion recessed part respectively, and a connecting rod-shaped part to connect the first body parts on both sides. The first body part is equipped with a first locking part which is engaged with the second locking part of the second reinforcing fitting by making contact with it, and a first ground part connected to a board and grounded. The first fitting guide part includes a recess, in which the second fitting guide part is inserted, and an end wall whose inside face defines an outside part of the recess in a longitudinal direction of the first housing. A first reinforcing metal fitting is mounted to the first fitting guide part. The first reinforcing metal fitting includes a center part covering a fitting side face of the end wall, a main body part connected to the center part and including a tongue part covering an inside face of the end wall, and a substrate connection part connected to the main body part and fixed to the substrate.
