    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing dried radish leaves (or dried cabbage leaves) is provided to offer beneficial components to a human body. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing dried radish leaves comprises the steps of: washing and cutting ingredients; boiling the cut ingredients with water as much as 20 to 150 times of the cut ingredients amount at 100°C to 120°C for 4 hours; obtaining medicinal plant extract liquid with the solid content of 1% to 10% by passing the boiled ingredients through a filter; and diluting the medicinal plant extract liquid with water and then boiling the liquid with the solid content of 0.01% to 0.5%. The ingredients used in the method are one selected from a medicinal plant group of arrowroot, acanthopanax, cultivated wild ginseng root, a kind of groundsel, platycodon grandiflorum, condonopsis lanceolata, cultivated ginseng, mugwort, artemisia capilaris, schizandra, milk vetch root, ginger, a lotus leaf(flower), a solomon's seal, chinese matrimony vine, green tea, angelica gigas, pine needles, epimedium koreanum, dried orange peel, chicory, salicornia herbacea, and a kelp.

    • A preparation method of biscuit containing a medicinal plant is provided to reduce waste treatment costs in the production process, to make the biscuit containing rich fiber, and to maximize the functionality of the medicinal plant by using the pulverized sludge as well as the extract from it. A preparation method of biscuit containing a medicinal plant comprises: a first process that includes putting a medicinal plant in water in a weight ratio of 1:20~150, boiling them at 100~120°C for 10~12hr, and passing the boiled water through a filter to obtain a medicinal plant extract; a second process that includes pulverizing the sludge remaining in the first process by a pulverizer; a third process that includes mixing 0.1~20wt% of the extract from the first process and 0.5~20wt% of the powder from the second process to 60.0~99.4wt% of a biscuit composition containing wheat flour as a main ingredient, and then forming a biscuit dough; and a fourth process that includes forming the dough into a desired biscuit shape, and then baking it at 150~220°C, wherein the medicinal plant is one ingredient selected from the group consisting of arrowroot, Acanthopanax sessiliflorum Seeman, cultivated root of wild ginseng, yam, platycodon, ginseng, mugwort, Schizandra chinensis baillon, Rubus coreanus Miquel, Ligularia fischeri Turcz., etc.
