摘要： An aircraft storage bin comprising an upper housing that includes first and second side panels. The first and second side panels each include a bottom edge. A bucket cooperates with the upper housing to define a bin interior. The bucket is pivotally connected to the upper housing and pivots about a pivot axis with respect to the upper housing between an open position and a closed position. The bucket includes a bottom and first and second side walls. The first and second side walls each include a top edge and first and second latch assemblies. The first latch assembly includes a first hook portion and a first striker portion. One of the first hook portion and the first striker portion extends downwardly from the bottom edge of the first side panel or upwardly from the first side wall of the bucket. The other of the first hook portion and the first striker portion is positioned in a first recess defined in the top edge of the first side wall of the bucket or the bottom edge of the first side panel. The second latch assembly includes a second hook portion and a second striker portion. One of the second hook portion and the second striker portion extends downwardly from the bottom edge of the first side panel or upwardly from the second side wall of the bucket. The other of the second hook portion and the second striker portion is positioned in a first recess defined in the top edge of the first side wall of the bucket or the bottom edge of the first side panel.
