    • PURPOSE:To obtain a promotor for TC fermentation, by using by-products which are filtered off in the final process of the preparation of glucose, cornstarch, liquid saccharide of sugar, etc. as a raw material, adding a TC mold to it and fermenting it. CONSTITUTION:By-products (diatomaceous earth, active carbon starch, glucose, yeast, mold, etc.) which are filtered off in the final process of the preparation of glucose, cornstarch, liquid saccharide of sugar, isomerized saccharide, or sorbitol are sterilized and disinfected. A group of molds for cultivation or fermentation such as Bacillus, koji mold, yeast, lactic acid bacteria, etc. are added to the by-products and stirred. The by-product is put in a fermentation tank and heat-treated at 35 deg.C with a hot water having a water content of 80-90wt% to carry out the first fermentation for 7-10days. When it becomes a spore state, the fermented substance is blended with a fermenting mold such as koji mold, Asperigillus S.P., red koji mold, yeast, etc., stirred, put in a fermentation tank, and treated with a cold air at 0-10 deg.C to carry out the second fermentation for 3-5days. The fermented substance is put in a drying chamber, dried with hot air, sieved by a vibrating sieve, washed, molded by a molding machine, and bagged.
