    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control circuit capable of uniformly charging battery units of a battery pack comprising a plurality of secondary battery units connected in series. SOLUTION: The charging control circuit is used for charging a battery pack where a plurality of battery units are connected in series, and includes a charging circuit, control circuit, and protection circuit. The charging circuit and the control circuit include a plurality of opening and closing units, and energy consumption units, respectively. The protection circuit is used for monitoring an internal voltage of each of battery units. If a difference of internal voltage between optional two batteries exceeds a particular value, the protection circuit performs switching between the opening and closing unit of the control circuit and that of the charging circuit. It reduces a charging current for the battery pack and, at the same time, shunts the charging current of the battery unit whose internal voltage is relatively high, so that the battery units of the battery pack are allowed to quickly reach a charge saturation state.       SOLUTION: In the battery pack charging balancing circuit E, the battery pack B constituted of a plurality of battery units B1 and B2 connected in series between both charging/discharging ends 11 and 12 of a charging/discharging circuit 10 is charged. The circuit E includes a first balancing control circuit C1, a second balancing control circuit C2 and a protection circuit P. The first balancing control circuit C1 and the second balancing control circuit C2 are connected in series between the charging/discharging ends 11 and 12 of the charging/discharging circuit 10. The first balancing control circuit C1 includes control circuits connected in parallel in accordance with the plurality of battery units B1 and B2. The second balancing control circuit C2 includes a first branch A1 and a second branch A2 connected in parallel. A protection circuit P is connected to the control units, the first branch A1 and the second branch A2.
