    • A sealing system for sealing the space between relatively rotatable members comprising a rigid support element and an annular elastomeric sealing element having an internal radial annular lip extending radially and axially from an annular root portion of the elastomeric element. The annular lip has a radial section of generally V-shaped cross section, having its vertex located obliquely with respect to the axis of the elastomeric element and comprising two portions of reduced cross section, one of the portions corresponding to the root portion and the other to the vertex of the V. Portions of reduced cross section divide the annular lip into first and second sections operable to engage with corresponding sealing surfaces on one of the members and having sufficient flexibility to hingedly connect the sections to one another and to the root portion.

    • A sealing assembly which can be interposed between two relatively movable members to make a seal between the cavity lying between the said members and the exterior environment, composed of two annular elements each of which is firmly connected to one of the said members and on one of which are formed two sliding surfaces perpendicular to one another. The prinipal characteristic of the sealing assembly lies in the fact that it includes an annular sealing element having a sleeve-like lip on which is mounted a resilient element and radially from which extends an annular projection which can slide on one of the sliding surfaces, and a root zone from which extends a second lip independent of and substantially parallel to the first lip and able to slide on the other of the sliding surfaces.

    • A sealing shield assembly for a rolling bearing has at least one ring with a seat comprising at least one essentially reinforcing member and an anchoring device made of an elastomeric material for securing the enforcing member in the bearing seat. The reinforcing member includes a peripheral annular sleeve portion shaped like a cylindrical sleeve, and an anchoring device which includes a radially elastically compressible sleeve section made of an elastomeric material. It is secured as a unit to the sleeve portion on a lateral coupling surface thereof, and is adapted to be interposed between the annular sleeve portion and the bearing seat. A plurality of axial grooves are on a separate lateral surface opposite the said coupling surface of the annular sleeve portion. The grooves extend from a continuous annular end portion of the elastomeric sleeve section to a point corresponding to a terminal rim of the annular sleeve portion interrupted by the grooves. The elastomeric sleeve section is capable of interacting radially with interference with the bearing seat.
