摘要： Technologies for managing network privileges of members of graft-network include detecting a computing device in physical presence with a network infrastructure, determining whether the computing device is a member of the graft-network, and establishing initial network privileges for the computing device if the computing device is not a member, without direct programming of the member. The network privileges of members of the graft-network are updated over time as a function of the length of time for which the computing device is in physical presence of the network infrastructure. A computing device may be in physical presence of the network by physical contacting a communication bus of the network infrastructure or being within a limited communication range of the communication bus. New members to the graft-network may be quarantined to reduce risk to the network.

The sock body may be dimensioned to substantially snugly receive a lower extremity. A measurement thread is attached to the sock body in a manner that causes the measurement thread to wrap around the lower extremity in multiple coils along the length of the sock body. The apparatus also includes a measurement gauge that measures at least one attribute of the measurement thread that corresponds to sock volume. In one embodiment, the measurement thread is substantially inelastic and has a fixed end, and the measurement gauge measures length of the measurement thread between the fixed end and the measurement gauge. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

In various embodiments, an apparatus may include a CA/AD system to: receive an identifier identifying a driver/passenger of a vehicle; request or retrieve, using the identifier, individual driving preferences of the driver/passenger; and apply the individual driving preferences of the driver/passenger to policies for CA/AD of the vehicle, to customize the policies for CA/AD of the vehicle for the driver/passenger. The CA/AD system may further receive data for policy parameters of the customized policies; and CA/AD the vehicle, in a manner that is adapted for the individual, in accordance with the customized policies, based at least in part on the data for the policy parameters of the customized policies.
