    • An electric connecting box is provided that has excellent connecting reliability between a printed circuit board and a bus-bar laminated body, and also has the advantage that it is difficult to develop any dead area on the printed circuit board. The electric connecting box includes a bus-bar laminated body including a bus-bar and an insulating base material, a printed circuit board electrically connected therewith, and a connecting block. The connecting block is configured to hold connecting terminals by partially molding a plurality of connecting terminals in a resin insulator block. The first end of each connecting terminal protrudes from the resin insulator block and is soldered with a conductor on one side of the printed circuit board. The second end of each connecting terminal is fixed to a connecting area on a side of the bus-bar laminated body.

    • The optical-disk recording and reproducing apparatus is provided with an optical head, a reproduction circuit, a detector circuit, a servo circuit, a recording circuit, and a controller. The controller among them performs such control that information is recorded and reproduced on only either lands or grooves in a region where file management information is recorded and reproduced, while information is recorded and reproduced on both lands and grooves for a plurality of tracks or for every zone in a data region, in the case of a land and groove recording optical disk. In the case of a land or groove recording optical disk, the controller performs such control that information is recorded and reproduced at alternate tracks in a region where file management information is recorded and reproduced, while information is continuously recorded and reproduced in the data region. As an optical disk, the track pitch in the region where the file management information is recorded and reproduced is made wider than the diameter of the laser beam.

    • A polymer actuator is capable of being utilized for any of various drive sources, and the amount of deformation of the polymer actuator can particularly be used also for a valve or shaft-sealing device. The polymer actuator includes a power driver deformed upon receiving electro stimuli and electrodes disposed on the upper and lower surface sides of the power driver in an opposite manner for applying positive and negative electro stimuli to the power driver in a planar fashion. The electrodes have different stimuli application regions to have different electrical field distributions for causing distribution of stress generated in the power driver to be eccentrically located on one of positive and negative sides, thereby bending and deforming the power driver onto a side on which the opposite stimuli application regions do not exist.

    • The present invention is to provide a power supply control apparatus which can connect a ground to a suitable electric potential when the ground is disconnected. The power supply control apparatus includes a control circuit having a switch element and a switch control unit, and a load. One terminal of load is connected to a direct-current power supply through the switch element, and the other terminal is connected to a ground electric potential. The switch control unit has a ground terminal connected to the ground electric potential and outputting a ground current flowing toward the ground electric potential. The control circuit includes a bypass device having a load side bypass system for passing the ground current to the ground electric potential through the load when connection between the ground terminal and the ground electric potential is disconnected. The load includes impedance for changing the electric potential of ground terminal into an electric potential in which the switch control unit stably acts when the ground current flows.
