    • A piezoelectric sounding device is provided with a piezoelectric element comprising a metal vibration plate and a piezoelectromagnetic plate bonded thereto, a resistor connected in series with the both ends of the piezoelectric element, a coil for generating a leakage flux connected in parallel with the piezoelectric element and the resistor, and a resin case. A portion of connector is embedded and fixed in the case. The piezoelectric sounding device is manufactured by a manufacturing process in which a resistor is joined to the connector by soldering, the resin case is formed so setting the connector in a mold of resin insertion as to embed the portion of the connector to which the resistor is connected, the piezoelectric element and the coil are mounted on the resin case. The thus obtained piezoelectric sounding device is so disposed, in a handset formed with sound emitting holes in which a supporting frame body is provided, as to form a cavity together with the piezoelectric element.
