    • In accordance with various embodiments, systems and methods that provide for authorization of access to protected resources. Such a system can include a plurality of applications, executing on one or more application servers. The system can also include an authorization server which is operable to interface with one or more remote and/or non-co-located third party authentication servers. Each application can (a) receive a request for authorization to access a controlled resource; (b) redirect the request for authorization to a configurable authentication endpoint identifying a third party authentication server; (c) receive authorization information from the third party authorization server; and (d) issue an authorization code for access to the protected resource.

    • An apparatus for context-based contact information management may include a processor. The processor may be configured to receive contact information and associated sender-based context information. In this regard, the contact information and sender-based context information may have been transmitted from a sending device. The processor may also be configured to associate receiver-based context information with the contact information and identify a historical context within a historical multi-dimensional context environment based at least in part on the sender-based context information and the receiver-based context information. Further, the processor may be configured to link the contact information to the historical context. Associated methods and computer program products may also be provided.

    • A system for detecting state transitions when apparatuses move between significant places or routes without having to employ high resolution, and high energy cost, localization technologies. Apparatuses may receive position information via lower resolution/lower energy cost localization resources, and this information may be used to determine whether the current position of the apparatus corresponds to a significant place or route. If the apparatus is determined to be positioned in a significant place or route, a further determination may be made as to whether at least one second level classifier exists for the significant place or route. Second level classifiers may be utilized to determine when apparatuses transition from one state (e.g., one significant place or route) to another. Upon detection of a state transition based on the second level classifier, a new localization configuration may be applied in the apparatus.
